OUR STRUCTURE

The Global Movement Against Statelessness is in the process of determining its long-term structure and modalities of operation. For this, an Options Paper outlining different structures and modalities has been developed following extensive consultations with the statelessness field, the wider stateless community, research on different global social movements, and in-depth discussions within the Movement's current structure.

These two videos offer a summary of the Options Paper:

Current structure of the Movement

The ICG has been established as a short-term structure to drive the concept of the Movement forward. It comprises 14 member working along with a Secretariat (Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion – ISI), a 12-member Advisory Committee (AC), and members of the wider movement in the statelessness field. Half of the members of ICG and AC have lived experience of statelessness. For organizational purposes, the ICG has been carrying the Movement’s works through four working groups as follows:

1. Solidarity and Action Working Group (SAWG)

2. Structure and Modality Working Group (SMWG)

3. Fundraising Working Group (FWG)

4. Public Relations Working Group (PRWG)
